After waking from a meaningless one night stand, theoretical physicist Sydney (Lennon Sickels) wants to leave but cannot help but stay when her mysterious and aloof one night partner, Ken (Andrew Morra), claims he is from a different universe. Theoretical physics becomes a lot less theoretical when Ken tells her the solution to all life's problems exists within the alleged traversable wormhole through space and time in his bathroom. Self loathing is taken to a new extreme when Sydney and Ken are forced to reckon with the very worst of their other selves from across the multiverse.

Backwards Faces deserves wider distribution; it’s an early contender for best movie of the year. Fans of Everything Everywhere All at Once who want to see more movies like that, but not the same as it, should particularly appreciate its charms.

It may not be for everyone because it is easy to get lost in all of the intellectual lingo, which I found myself doing quite a bit. However, I did enjoy what I understood, even if I did feel a little dumb after it was over.

It's a mildly interesting premise. They mention both Hoboken New Jersey and Keene New York is it's worth watching. The Kitchen is too sparse.

This movie is horrid. It's like watching some kid's theater 101 project where he got his friends to be the actors. I have to belive that all the folks loving this film helped make it or something. I can't imagine that two whole humans enjoyed this, much less several.

This movie kept me on my toes! I can't say I understood everything, but I certainly can say that I laughed more than I have at a movie in some time! Not only that, but it tugged at my heartstrings and had me thinking just as much.
