Alain E @AlainE 3d A quite successful movie about surviving under adverse conditions. A middle aged woman is released after a stay in an alternative mental health facility outside Reykjavik. She appears aimless and in the process we learn that she doesn’t want to return to her previous home and meet her mother who is back after disappearing when she was little. She books a stay at a rental facility and there she meets an Englishman who is in fugue state himself mourning the death of his son in a nearby location a couple years earlier. Eventually there will be successful reconciliation and resolution of the various issues. The process is respectful and free of sudden romances and other improbabilities. Good cinematography featuring the beautiful Icelandic nature. After we conquer Greenland we should incorporate Iceland next. The actors are believable. Nice music as well. On Prime.
