Audience Member Cheesy comedy shot on SVHS about a girl overcoming obstacles by finding inspiration from a Kung Fu TV series. Ridiculous, self aware but entertaining. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Oy vey! The Bad Movie Police strike again. What bothers me is who is going to bad movie police the bad movie police??? Seriously, those introductions before the said bad movie are just awful. If they are trying to prep us for before the actual film, then they are suceeding. Anyways, the Bad Movie Police do an excellent job of pinpointing all of the things wrong with Chickboxer. Horrible actors, annoying scenes (the beginning and end credits are VERY long because the lead actress is putting laces through her shoes; god, I wanted to shoot myself in the head). There were moments that were just so bad that I actually laughed my head off, which I guess is entertaining. A nerdy girl obsessed with a lame TV show called Chickboxer decides to sign up for karate lessons to be like her hero, but then her and the school jock (played by James L. Edwards) get caught up in city corruption that leads to a mentally challenged "action"-packed showdown of retarded-ness. Other hilarious moments include several boom mics appearing onscreen, not to mention a COMPLETELY pointless ending that goes nowhere involving token film celebrity Michelle Bauer (my love and only reason for watching this film) asking some guy about someone and then having fairly graphic sex with him. All of that was nice (plenty of bush, titties, ass, and even balls); the hilariously bad aspect of it.....the director whispering love-making directions to them somewhere behind the camera. Wow. Enjoy at your own risk. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
