So I went into this knowing fully well, this was going to be a different film. Within the first 5 minutes, you know what kind of film this will be, after it's first [several] f-bombs and bad jokes, I kept expecting the film to get better, but it didn't. The animation in the film is absolutely great for 2016 ( when it was created ), and the animation team did a phenomenal job, but in the end, the film never quite finds it's audience, and is perhaps only appealing to the sort of sadist who enjoys watching a cat and dog get electrocuted, and another cat get stabbed with scissors, a person end up in a trash compactor, and other characters being gunned down... I kept thinking to myself throughout the film the creators could have toned the violence, and language wayyyy down - and could have given the main character more redeemable qualities, but even at the end, it doesn't ever achieve anything remotely close to a satisfying ending. Profane language is used liberally and for no other purpose than because they can, and the characters never go beyond 1 dimension. Do NOT allow your children to watch this - even though it looks like a film for kids. It's not, and between drinking, smoking, and what I can only describe as a bird smoking pot, and I can't find anything remotely redeeming in this film whatsoever. I feel sorry for the voice actors who created it, because now their careers will be marred by this film.
