Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins fail to generate the sparks necessary to save the movie from a generic and utterly predictable script.

Pickatcu 1 A simple cheesy action movie... nothing more maybe the chemistry between Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins was good but no I don't want a sequel from this movie... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Yolanda S First of all how the heck did Chris Rock get screen time acting with Anthony Hopkins? That was the first thing that I thought. The casting director did a huge solid. This movie is far rmore entertaining than I thought it would be. This is one of Rock's earlier films, let's keep it real he's not an "actor". If you are looking for something that 's a bit of a thriller and fun this is it. Lots of NYC actors in the flick, it's cool to see them in some of their first flicks..think Kerry Washington, Daniel Sunjata, Gabriel Macht, etc. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Raof N Every scene with Chris tries to be mysterious and the Spy like it looks like he trying to give a kiss to the camera Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/10/22 Full Review Audience Member Very Funny but very serious! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Nothing really to remember about this movie, but it does provide some solid entertainment for a random Tuesday night at home. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Anthony Hopkins stars as a CIA agent who must train a wise cracking, street smart ticket scalper, played by Chris Rock, how to act like his twin brother who was also a CIA operative. The only reason to put these two actors together is to make Anthony Hopkins the straight man to Chris Rock's comedy. The problem is that they only share a couple of scenes that allow for that. The rest of the movie forces the two of them to focus on plot and action. This also never really allows Chris Rock to set up his style of comedy, which needs to be set up. The end of the second act felt like the finale, and the true finale was boring. Skip this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
