Synopsis
After her guardian's death, orphan Patsy (Virginia Weidler) takes the biblical advice to "flee to Egypt" -- and heads to Egypt, N.J. Befriended by Tommy Wilkes (Gene Reynolds) and his drunken father, Red (Henry Hull), Patsy meets Red's boss, newspaper editor Jim Creighton (Ian Hunter), who offers to put her up in his home. When Jim writes a scathing article about the shady business of millionaire Luther Marvin (Guy Kibbee), he loses his job, prompting Patsy to believe she's a jinx.
