Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint Dialogue writer Ghildial coats a taboo topic in a veneer of humour. The screenplay builds in just the right amount of emotional nudges and Sharma's direction binds together all the elements to deliver a satisfying watch. Jul 29, 2019 Full Review Jimmy Cage Jimmy Cage Movie Reviews (YouTube) BADHAAI HO is just a really lovable and enjoyable feel-good film with a great ensemble cast and a good mix blend of humor and drama. Rated: 7/10 May 5, 2023 Full Review Poulomi Das Arré Badhaai Ho is a delightful comedy that exposes society's hypocrisy toward sex. It underlines our unwillingness to view our parents as sexual beings... Mar 11, 2019 Full Review Bedatri D. Choudhury Forbes It brings with itself an assurance that a good film with a good story told convincingly will always find its takers. Jan 10, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion It's a testament to the art of casting that the film is allowed to hinge on an actress in the position to draw from her own fierce individuality and life experience in the face of similar odds. Audience Member LOL, the funniest 02 hours: and 04 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Unpopular opinion, I know. This movie talks about a topic that completely justifies something I absolutely hate. You've seen those reviews where people trash a movie or a series because their religious sentiments got offended? Yeah, consider the same thing has happened to me over here. I really like Ayushmann Khurrana. He's always the best artiste for me. I am such a simp for him that I can watch him all day. And he doesn't disappoint here either. This movie taught me the meaning of sarbala (the kid who sits on the horse next to the groom in a marriage, just in case you forgot). All the comic scenes were absolutely hilarious. The acting was also phenomenal. I would have given this movie 5/5, if I weren't offended. So the message about this movie is what exactly? Accept overpopulation and let the world suffer because we are the good guys? Or is it have kids just before menopause? Or is it that abortion is evil? Either way it's not a good message. The only message I could have accepted in this movie was that someone should not be harassed over a choice they made, but that message was never given and so I won't even consider this is what the director wanted to tell. Trust me, I'm not like one of "those" people, who would write hate speeches about some film online and give death threats to the actors. If that were true I would have given it a 1 star review and written abuses instead of a long review like this. But this movie gives the wrong message to the society and it should not be taken seriously. Also apart from that the cinematography wasn't good so that brings down another star (originally I was gonna give it 3). Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Ahead of Indian society's mindset, ahead of Bollywood in nutshell, breaking all stereotypes, have never smiled more watching any Bollywood movie. Kudos to all movie members. What a fantastic movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member It will give you a big smile. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Hilarious! It is a must-see. Neena Gupta and Surekha Sikri's performance in the movie was my favourite. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome movie Best entertaining movie of 2018 Ayushman at its best Heroin was superb All the actors were great Totally a great movie to enjoy Not a single boring scene Best comedy movie of 2018 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
