Peter Sobczynski RogerEbert.com The only chance of experiencing any actual chills is if you doze off and generate a more interesting nightmare of your own. Rated: 1/4 Sep 27, 2024 Full Review Rebecca Johnson Film Focus Online Despite boasting a talented cast and an interesting if generic central premise, Bagman fails to entertain due to its lack of scares, poorly written characters and meandering story. Angela Good directing with a poorly told story, could’ve been executed better maybe with more time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/02/24 Full Review Donna C This movie was just ok. Nothing special. I could take it or leave it. It kept my attention a tad bit, but it was not what I expected. When it was over, I was like,Is this it? Was overall just a weird movie in my opinion. The little boy was sweet and I didnt mind the parents acting. They just did some stupid stuff when it came to parenting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Color Awesome movie, very suspenseful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/28/24 Full Review Nate Slow and uneventful movie. Far from scary. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/27/24 Full Review Jason T I don't know what I just watch, but I am very confused. After a great opening this movie took a nosedive which leads you to more questions than answers. The premise and monster-design are great but the makers of this movie didn't took advantage of both. Instead of what we got promised in the trailers (a monster who kidnaps children and the main protagonist fights it to save the children it abducted) we've got a very confusing story (If I could call it so) about a man who just wants to save his child from it and has a type of connection with Bagman, since his childhood. That would've made any sense if the movie showed how MC discovered and escaped BM and how he abducts children from people the MC knew (either as friends who were close to mc's family, his family members or even both) and later wants to kidnap MC's child just to capture him. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Audience Member Save your time and money. Casting and writing are dull, typical , slow paced as they drag the film out with boring dialog. The Opening scene on the sofa and at the house sets the tone of the film with expositional writing. I quickly lost interest and attention. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/22/24 Full Review Read all reviews
