Aldo G I screened this picture because of my interest in John Payne, not because of the subject matter. However, I did find the topic of test pilots risking their lives for others and the anxiety involved interesting. The overall film however is nothing special. What I found most interesting was the intimacy scenes between Payne and the actress playing his wife, Karen Steele. In one scene she places her hand so far up on his thigh I thought it was R-movie territory. In anther scene, the kissing was more intense than in any other movie I've seen from the era.
