Eh E 5 stars because I think people who don't go fishing won't like it as much but I'm into fishing so it's a good movie in my opinion. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Audience Member For someone who is learning about films, I know that right now (1/10/22) Superhero movies are taking control of the industry, which is fine, but as a fan of Bill Engvall this movie is nice and relaxing. For anyone researching films, this is a great movie, well its not a "great" movie like Spiderman No Way Home but I like it!! The best part about this movie: Its free on Youtube!!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review adam b Besides maybe one funny part, it's a terrible movie filled with cliche after cliche. Avoid Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I love bait shop so much. The first time I watched it was very good. I enjoy it a lot. It's such a great modern comedy. Bill Engvall and Billy Ray Cyrus were absolutely great in it. It is hilarious. It's a got a great storyline in the movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Lame a fuck. I'm giving one star for Merica cuz that's about all this movie has going for it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a great movie for a rainy Sunday afternoon when you can't go fishing and your football team is on a bye. The acting isn't that great and most of the jokes are amusing at best. Billy Ray is decent as the heavy - I mean, he's easy to hate. The plot is basically the same as a million other movies where a guy has to rise to occasion to save his business/family. Tommy Boy is much better and funnier. But it's a movie about fishing, starring the blue collar comedy guy - what did you expect? Bill's acting isn't great, but he's likable and relatable. Way better than "Charlie the Lonesome Cougar."
