Audience Member A decent and entertaining Taiwanese gangster film. The acting is mediocre at best, but the action and plot are solid. This movie is definitely worth watching if you plan to visit or live in Taiwan as the film uses native Taiwanese-Hokkien dialogue and incorporates a lot of slang. Although, the portrayal of Taiwanese gangster culture is exaggerated and outdated, it still reveals a subculture within Taiwan that most foreigners and many Taiwanese are unaware of. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The young eye-candy cast proves they have some acting chops to earn awe and melt hearts in this hot-blooded and earnestly acted gangsta melodrama. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A very good production from Taiwan. Some parts let me remember "Godfather" series and "Young and Dangerous" series. But this movie has its own Taiwanese characters. Nearly every casts in the movie is well-performed. May be the only negative point of this movie is that it made the black society too romantic. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review gareth d Pretty solid Taiwanese gangster flick. Well cast, well directed and well shot. Definitely worth a watch.
