Cliff T This movie is pretty mediocre in my opinion and a poor adaptation of Jack London's clasic sea tale. The only redeeming factor is that Ruth Roman is absolutely gorgeous and worth seeing. This alone raises the rating. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Audience Member 131110: Strange film. Very different story from most westerns I've seen. Almost too strange to be enjoyable. If you're the kind of person that cannot suspend belief, this is not the film for you. I question things and thus didn't find much enjoyment here. Found the premise just plain silly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Odd B western that appears to be mostly forgotten but is fairly engaging for its brief running time. The three leads are uncharismatic and that allows veteran character actor Raymond Massey to steal the show as an evil mine owner who has patterned his life on Shakespeare's Richard III. Guess he never read the ending or he may have chosen a better role model. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
