Cliff T 01/13/2024 This movie is pretty mediocre in my opinion and a poor adaptation of Jack London's clasic sea tale. The only redeeming factor is that Ruth Roman is absolutely gorgeous and worth seeing. This alone raises the rating. See more 11/10/2013 131110: Strange film. Very different story from most westerns I've seen. Almost too strange to be enjoyable. If you're the kind of person that cannot suspend belief, this is not the film for you. I question things and thus didn't find much enjoyment here. Found the premise just plain silly. See more 01/05/2011 Odd B western that appears to be mostly forgotten but is fairly engaging for its brief running time. The three leads are uncharismatic and that allows veteran character actor Raymond Massey to steal the show as an evil mine owner who has patterned his life on Shakespeare's Richard III. Guess he never read the ending or he may have chosen a better role model. See more Read all reviews
