This is a solid adaptation of a fantastic graphic novel. It works much better as the whole rather than split between to parts. It does feel a little stretched to fit the run time, but not horribly. It doesn’t rise to the heights of some of the other DC animated movies but it is still well within A tier.

I’m not crazy about the style of the animation, but the story is overwhelming, dramatic and serious, great follow up to Batman Year One.
