Immediately, one of my biggest issues with a lot of the DC animated films was solved within the first few frames, because you can tell they put a lot of work into this animation.

If you're a Batman fan, I strongly recommend this film. It is among the best, if not THE best onscreen adaptation of Batman ever. ... It may be cliché of me to say this, but the film is quite literally the Godfather of Batman films.

One of the most beautiful if not THE most beautiful animation of the 21st century. Everything was spot on, from the visuals to the voice acting, engaging plot, pacing, score, atmosphere. It really immersed me into Gotham City and left me wanting more.

As of this review I have not seen part two, but this movie still stands it's ground, an intriguing murder mystery with brilliant animation, emphasizing a key aspect of Batman's character often left neglected, being a detective.

Unbelievable film. beautifully shot, voice acted, and great adaption of the novel. I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish. The animation style I also enjoyed as it look like it was straight from a comic. Definitely worth watching.

The Long Halloween Part 1 is a visually stunning animated film that successfully combines the worlds of Batman, The Godfather, and Seven. The great voice casting, amazing cinematography, and engaging storyline make it a must-watch for fans of the Dark Knight and crime thrillers. While it may have some pacing issues and leave audiences wanting more, it's still a solid entry in the Batman animated movie canon.
