Michael D Dec 30 The storyline is good, of course it comes from the actual battle of the bulge. But I've seen far more realistic war movies made in the '70s. See more Michael L 12/15/2024 That movie was so awful I actually had to watch it till the end. It was like watching a train wreck and you just can't take your eyes off it. The terrible scripts, the ridiculous scenes. German soldiers attacking like Kamikaze Japanese soldiers, same scene over and over again, machine guns blazing at them with hardly anyone being hit, without them ever getting any closer, like in a time warp. Anyone interested in becoming a movie producer must watch this movie,it is a treasure in learning what not to do -- ever.
