      Randy M The movie revealed two truths: hypocrisy within Christianity and the sin of self glorification. The movie portrayed the church as unforgiving and pious. This is the case, but not the church as a whole. The Bible says if those who call themselves Christians don't love and/or don't forgive, then the love of the father is not in them and the Father will not forgive them. A lot of the characters in this movie repented meaning they changed their minds and turned from their sins and the church still rejected them. This happens in some cases and is wrong and the church needs to repent. However, the rejected who repented were all about themselves. The theme was ‘I changed.' ‘I want to be known as….' I am me and I'm not afraid to be me' This is equally wrong and equally sinful. By Gods grace and in birthing of faith we realize and see the rotten, wretched sinful people we are. We develop a hat for that sin and long to be freed from it. But this is only an awakening to our dire state, and MUST turn to Christ for forgiveness and salvation, and then live for His glory out of loving praise and worship, not ours. For we did or do nothing apart from His will and providence. We are completely lost, separated from our loving, perfect, gracious, good creator, and are rightly hellbound because of it. But the good news is Jesus Christ, fully God, left His glory in heaven to become fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life revealing the true nature and being the exact image of God the Father, died an excruciating, criminals death on a cross, rose from the dead proving He was the Messiah and that His sacrifice paid the penalty for mankind's sins, and then ascended back into Heaven until one day He will return. Do not be deceived by self glorifying, inspirational movies like this. Repent from yours sins, call upon the name of Jesus Christ and be saved from sin and hell, then live your life under His lordship, abiding in Him and His word the Bible. Give Christ all the glory!
