Audience Member A splitted, multi-narrative film from Singapore, where the stories are not that much connected. A very silent film with few words. We do have more text here, when we follow a blind and deaf lady. She tells stories while we watch other scenes - a bit hard to hang on to, to be honest. The characters are cool, the three individual stories are also cool, but the combinations are not that great. It's a film that does not give me much. It's does not look especially pretty, it's not thrilling or sad, the plot is not all that either. It's quite artsy, but this is not how I like my artsy films. It has it's moments, though, but they are not big enough to save it. I like some details, the genuinity and some of the actions the leads do. Twists of love can be as wide as they can be narrow - this film is failing to capture the point that it's trying to make and tell us. 4 out of 10 braille newspapers. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member There are three stories and there are three themes -- communication, love, and Theresa Chan (though she embodies the other two). Chan's story is terrific (in an inspiring sense), and her scenes, especially the final one, speak to her grace and her ability to overcome great challenges. All the senses are engaged, even if only through the actor's experiences. This is a real treat (though the editing can be seen as clunky at times). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the most underrated films of all time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This film is far from being simply an "art" film, it is a fim of heart . It's both metaphysical and emotional. Brilliant! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member this is a master piece... for a long time I havent watched such a good movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved this movie. I've always believed that a movie doesn't need much dialogue to feel what the director wants you to feel. Pretty indie, pretty awesome. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
