Rémi (Patrick Dewaere) is a man trapped in a deteriorating marriage. When his wife is unexpectedly killed in a car accident, Rémi is left with his stepdaughter, Marion (Ariel Besse), who chooses to stay with him rather than live with her birth father. After the initial shock passes, Rémi is caught off-guard when the 14-year-old Marion begins expressing her attraction to him. Initially repulsed, Marion's mature beauty wears him down as he finally caves to her seductions.

Patrick Dewaere was an exceptional actor and this was definitely one of his best performances. Blier did a terrific script and the directing. The ending is very powerful. A must see essentially for Dewaere performance.

Above average movie with great performance by Patrick Dewaere. What movie really lacks is sincere sex scene also fact that girl is only 14 but can feel, think and act way above her age making film not as realistic as it should be.

Synopsis
