Jonathan G Juraj Herz’ “Beauty and the Beast” is one of the most beautiful pieces of cinema I’ve seen in my life. Cinematography is just skyrocketed to a legendary level, everything about this is just memorable, haunting, and even just strikes emotion out during some of its scenes. This is by far my favorite rendition of “Beauty and the Beast”, with the beast being bird-like, and a lot more creepy while being goofy simultaneously. This is endearing and heartwarming as well, it’s ending kind starts to just tears pieces of you. Absolutely knocked out of the park and painfully underrated and insanely difficult to find anywhere, this one really needs more attention brought to it. Also, Zdena Studenková is just a precious gem in her performance as Julia. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
