Audience Member A poorly made documentary that was still interesting to watch due to impressive films of John Ford himself. The editing of this documentary annoyed me but the interviews where insightful & informative. This film started on his early days in silent cinema & it centred on his more or less golden age 1940-1960 where he made so many classics & films that still impact today. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting introduction to the man behind the camera, covering his earlier works for Fox and his relationship with producer Darryl F. Zanuck. Ford seems like quite a character. I thought they did a great job getting lots of different perspectives on him to build up a bit of who the whole man might have been if you'd known him personally or professionally.
