Critics Consensus

Though it may earns some chuckles from pre-teens, this kid-friendly Adam Sandler comedy is uneven, poorly paced, and lacks the requisite whimsy to truly work.

Bedtime Stories is one of those stories told at bedtime: safe, comforting and predictable. But there is a topping: it has Adam Sandler, a hero whose main virtue isn't his looks, kingdom or valour but a likeability that helps you overlook all of it. Go to Full Review

Far from another Jumanji, any magic director Shankman tries to inject is squashed by Sandler's distressingly annoying turn, while Russell Brand and Keri Russell look uncomfortably crowbarred in. Go to Full Review

While a film about dreams coming true should be enchanting and whimsical, this product will only mildly entertain in a dull and predictable way. Go to Full Review

Dean B Nov 3 Those movie might not have had good critic scores but my kids are the critics I trust the most and they loved it. All of my kids were laughing throughout. A must see family movie with Adam Sandler near his best. See more HameZz O @HameZz Jul 31 Probably one of the better Adam Sandler movies. See more Ariel S Jun 27 ✨ Wholesome fun with a magical twist! Bedtime Stories is silly, sweet, and full of heart. Adam Sandler charms, the visual gags land, and the kid-friendly imagination makes it a family winner. Not perfect, but perfect for what it is. See more gavin m May 7 had to watch this with my family as my sister got to choose the dvd at the caravan. i was somehow the only one who hated this rubbish See more thiago s @Thiagostone Feb 13 Filme ruim, o roteiro fraco, as cenas são fracas, as cenas nao nada boas, o filme coloca histórias com um cgi que fica ruim, e nem o adam Sandler que é protagonista e nem o elenco salva o filme de ser Ruim. E o filme não tem cenas relevantes para ser um filme bom, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme. See more Camille F 08/14/2024 My kids absolutely loved this movie. I enjoyed it too!
