Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. [T]here’s nothing to this movie. It was gossamer, it was a spider web — swipe your hand and it vanishes. ... The final act did pick up, as if the movie had realized it was just puttering around and had to rouse itself and finish big. Too little, too late.

This was a good sequel to the original. I enjoyed its homages. The actors, especially the Ghost with the Most himself, Michael Keaton, didn't miss a beat. The movie was outrageous in the best way. I enjoyed seeing the original cast and the new cast members as well. It's a fun ride with its wild humor. My only criticisms are that it might seem a bit chaotic because of its subplots, resulting in one new character who didn't seem as fleshed out (I won't say whom to avoid spoilers). Nonetheless, I would watch again in a Halloween or Beetlejuice marathon, and add to the Halloween watchlist. I rate this movie a 7/10.

This movie is a must see. I watched it 3 times and loved it all 3 times didn’t get bored and didn’t expect it to be this good either. I watched the 1st movie the day before which was also really good especially for its time so I wasn’t expecting it to be as good or better than the first one but it definitely was
