Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. A delightfully dark and often silly ride that gives us a taste of classic Burton that of course won’t beat the original in many fans’ eyes just like most sequels, but will give that nice hit of nostalgia and enough of something new to keep most happy.

The sequel is a bit of a slow burn. It's fun but takes over half of the movie to really pick up. The way they played off the father/grandfather (Jeffery Jones) is an interesting choice for obvious reasons.
