      Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine It's a folksy, semi-musical domestic comedy, quite pleasant in spots although sometimes straining too obviously to be oh-so-likable.       Audience Member I think it's the best out of the 2 films they made in the 1950s but not a timeless classic for most people. In my case, I grew up watching it and it is still enjoyable for me to watch so it's timeless for me.
