Italian reporter Jacopo (Massimo Bellinzoni) travels to Paris for the wedding of his estranged brother, Dario (Ennio Fantastichini). When Jacopo befriends Dario's cohorts, a group of former militant activists, he begins to interview them. But, as Jacopo's questions delve deeper and as he falls for the mysterious and beautiful Eugenia (Isabella Ferrari), herself an ex-terrorist, the interviewees start to suspect that Jacopo's motives are far from innocent.
