Noel Murray Los Angeles Times This is a movie about misery, which makes viewers feel every bit of the characters' ennui. The M A story with a dark fable mythology to it, if you enjoy a slow burn story you'll embark on a dark journey between a mental disabled man that escapes a mental institution and a girl that cross paths, the setting feels stand still and timeless, the residents seem they have tragedy attached to their lives and they accept it as their daily routine in life. The performance of the main cast gives a cold calculating mood not giving a form of predictability. This story feels a layer of offset and direct of what the situation is. This film is worth a look for a different type of subtle horror mix with drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/01/24 Full Review Audience Member Good. Had to keep watching to the end! Suspenseful Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member You know how the story starts, a lunatic escapes from a local mental hospital , to wreak havoc, on the town that born him,, BUT you have not seen ANYTHING like this . The movie is 3 hours long, < kinda like -Saving Private Ryan > so be prepared at your seat, because you are not going to pause this movie, once you get going. Fast paced, Fluid , Colorful, BLOODY and simply, The Best Slasher Film, that ever will be.. Director Holbrook , is someone you need to look out for .. His Style of Fluid camera movements, add something ,, and as a writer director,, he Brings it out of his mind, through HIS dialogue and visuals, and puts it on the screen, OHHH man, i envy people who watch this for the first time . Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent old school horror with that unique “quiet” vibe that made David Lynch so special. Not for your bread and butter types, this movie is for the horror elite! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/19 Full Review William Henderson Loved it from beginning to end. I really like how I was sucked in at times and actually felt sorry for the bunny...the same bunny that killed everything that moved lol...well almost everything! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/19/19 Full Review crakajack This is one cool film. Mike Meyers meets Pulp Fiction meets Twin Peaks. not a typical horror. Very multi-genre. loved it!
