Well made but ultimately disappointing. The basic plot would be a forgettable episode in a police procedural series and that's fine because it's so well shot, acted and edited. However, they try to be a bit too clever in the final 20 mins and the whole businesses feels like a wasted experience.

Very disappointing. It focused on a long-over relationship that took way too far to explain, and the ending was, well, meh. The actor playing the boss was less than convincing, more like the stereotypical hardass boss who thinks yelling at his staff motivates them. That was a couple of hours (not even worth going to back to see how long it was) I'll never get back. The only star of the whole movie was the photography.

That's it? I agree with Jared Mobarak. It ended when it was getting good. I suspect I am like most crime movie viewers in that I want a resolution. A resolution is satisfying, it relieves the tension. Of course, that ain't reality. When I was young, reality had a strong appeal. Now, in my 70s, satisfaction comes on in the stretch.
