I friend put it better than I while discussing this movie on twitter, "Benched was a great study of the male ego in modern society and how different perspectives end up working together. Great film for dads and sons" I might be a little slow but it is indeed a great movie about two men who happen to be little league coaches. This is not a "bad news bears" type of show which the trailers make it out to be. This is the fault of the marketing and not the movie iself

This was in the "family"movie section and not at all a family flick. Talking about affairs, cheating on his wife and how his best friend is banging his wife. Literally not even necessary. So disappointing viewing with my 3 kids and husband. Some language was unnecessary also. They were coaching a little league team and could of potentially been a cute, family comedy but took a turn and we had to shut it down. Understand there isn't a rating but everything about this suggests it's okay for appropriate age children and it's sadly should not be in the family category. H
