The story is mildly interesting but largely implausible. There is some tension built in the underwater scenes. The special effects are acceptable. The acting is merely so-so. Nothing stands out here, but nothing is truly awful either. An average movie. The main problem with this film is that it is basically a mediocre knock-off of Jaws, only with the Loch Ness monster instead of a shark. It was better than I expected, but it still wasn't a very good film. Overall, it's just an unremarkable horror film that should have been more lively.
