Sky M There are allusions to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, but this isn't a film about institutional abuse, but one about art and insanity, and the close bond the two seem to have. Icka comes to terms with his schizophrenic episodes whilst continuing to live the life of a DJ, which is clearly a lonely one. A lot of the party scenes in the film are harrowing rather than desirable, particularly in the raj Berlin setting with toilet cubicle sex and copious drug taking. Where Human Traffic depicts the life of the clubbers, Berlin Calling depicts life on the other side of the decks in a much more serious fashion. A must watch for all clubbers Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/27/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
