      don s A low-budget fantasy involving vikings, Norse gods, and a curse of immortality living to battle for the freedom of the Valkyrie queen throughout the ages. The curse is not clear in the beginning, so it was a bit jarring when the story went from barbaric vikings to modern day, but I quickly assimilated. Paul Johansson and the beautiful Kari Wuhrer do serviceable work. The rest of the acting is flat and the effects are laughable. Wuhrer almost makes it watchable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very very poor, was expecting something along the lines of the Norse Sagas but was met with a total misunderstanding and lack of knowledge of Norse Mythology and the relationship between Odin, the Valkyries and Humanity. Feel this movie tried to follow in Highlanders foot steps but failed miserably with going from the past to the present. Don't waste your hard earned money on this failure.
