Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News More of a holiday concept than legit film, Netflix’s flimsy and phony offering flounders around and strands Heather Graham and pop singer/actor Brandy Norwood, not to mention Jason Biggs and Matt Cedeno, in the cinematic equivalent of a lump of coal. Rated: 1.5/4 Nov 27, 2023 Full Review Courtney Howard Variety Its absurdist lunacy acts as a Trojan Horse containing genuinely meaningful sentiments on forgiveness, happiness and bittersweet sorrows — universalities people tend to reflect on as their year comes to a close. Nov 16, 2023 Full Review Claire Shaffer New York Times “Best. Christmas. Ever!” resembles a television holiday special more than a feature film, and its plot follows the predictable Christmastime themes of love, acceptance, and being thankful for what you’ve got. Nov 16, 2023 Full Review Alison Gillmor Winnipeg Free Press What follows is standard Christmas-movie fare: a town-square nativity pageant, a couple of precocious kids and some eggnog-sweet lessons about love and friendship, all marred by an uncomfortable and abrupt tonal shift. Dec 20, 2023 Full Review Jeanine T. Abraham VisAbleBlackwoman (Medium) Watch Best. Christmas. Ever! if you want to waste a bit of your precious life. Rated: 1 Dec 13, 2023 Full Review Maddy Casale Decider For all of its joys, the holiday season can be a time of comparison, envy, and heartache, and Best. Christmas. Ever! portrays that in a really thought-provoking and realistic way as it reminds us that no life or person is as perfect as it may seem. Nov 29, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I thought it was a lovely film that probably only Christians will enjoy. From what I see from the professional critics the ideas of forgiveness, kindness, patience, and love is ludicrous. It’s a reminder not to give up on people even when they’re difficult to love. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review matthias s I’m a big fan of Jason Biggs because of the "American Pie" movies, but not even he could save "Best Christmas Ever". The plot is so generic and predictable, and I barely laughed, maybe chuckled a couple of times. There are so many cringe moments, and the child actors are really bad. I didn’t care about any of the characters at all. The story felt like it was written by AI, and some of the emotional stuff, like the death of a kid, made me laugh because it was so unbelievably written. Heather Graham was the highlight, though, and probably the only good thing about the movie. Mary Lambert once again proves that she is incapable of directing a film. It also doesn’t know what kind of movie it wants to be; comedy, drama, or something else. Overall, it’s just really badly written and a total waste of time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/15/24 Full Review Kim B Bad acting. Bad script. Not best Christmas movie ever. I was expecting better from Jason Biggs… Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Elias b Bad movie, a waste of time. The purpose of this movie was to place a few brand deals like Cheetos and red bull, and make it intentionally bad so people would talk about it. Bad publicity is still publicity. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/09/24 Full Review Murphy1101 M Will not be adding this one to our annual Christmas list. The kids were begging us to turn it off. Don't waste your time on this one. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Kaiden B would rather watch grass grow Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
