I watched this movie three times, which was not planned but I just feel I have to watch it again after the first time and then again. The main actors are so great. Their faces are so touching and tell the story very well. The tone of the movie also makes you feel real about everything. The story took me back to my teenage years. I couldn't control my tears when I saw Bei, the male actor's tears. He is such a hero for the girl, I love him!

Nary a dry eye in the theater. Superbly made, heartbreaking love story told against a backdrop of the pressures of the Gao Kao (the national exam taken by high schoolers) and the torment of school bullying in urban China. A real winner.
