Lou Lumenick New York Post Plays like one long, meandering sketch inspired by the works of John Waters and Todd Solondz, rather than a fully developed story. Rated: 2/4 Nov 20, 2002 Full Review Dave Kehr New York Times As broad and cartoonish as the screenplay is, there is an accuracy of observation in the work of the director, Frank Novak, that keeps the film grounded in an undeniable social realism. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 20, 2002 Full Review Ed Park Village Voice Too stupid to be satire, too obviously hateful to be classified otherwise, Frank Novak's irritating slice of lumpen life is as reliably soul-killing as its title is nearly meaningless. Audience Member This is what documentary/reality tv should look like. Raw and real. Camera moves that show the fact that its being filmed live, not some hidden camera and fancy editing. Zia is a real prize of an actor and is going far in his career. Mr. Novak did well in casting him. VERY GOOD FUN Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
