Jose Maria Santos Cine-Mundial A beautiful and original idea has been locked in the limits of a poor story. [Full review in Spanish] Apr 9, 2021 Full Review James T. Hamada The Nippu Jiji (Honolulu) Pictorially, Beyond Tomorrow is a fine piece of work but as entertainment It's too slow-paced and at times dreary. s r I watched this because it was listed in my TCM Christmas Movies book I got from the LOC. I am glad I did, it was a hidden gem for Christmas and could be remade into an excellent sentimental film. I plan on seeing it again for its feel good happiness. It was on TCM. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review J N A good, fun movie with morals, values and life lessons throughout. Enjoy your life, but most importantly be kind to those you meet. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/19/22 Full Review deke p 1940 ! WOW!! The ENDING along was worth it! Very beautiful & inspirational. Angelic ghosts spirits back from the dead. & Sadness that 1 murder victim won't be joining them, because they didn't have a soul, the Hebrew language calls it the Neshama, so nothing to go on with.Harry CAREY.& RICHARD CARLSON ! (singing, & younger over a decade younger than when he starred in the 1950s anti-Communist TV series "I LED 3 LIVES". + This movie kinda reminds me of the movies & old tv series "TOPPER", in that Ghosts come back to help people. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Half expositional before the complicating action strikes to fully develop the point of the story with the three wise men narrative associated with the Christmas setting while emphasizing how socially miraculous and joyfully heartening a wonderful though depressingly subtle buried gem it is by being a unique picture with delicate effects. (B+) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I donï¿ 1/2(TM)t take time to watch old black and white movies but saw this as I was trying to find a new movie. Started watching and honestly did not figure that I would watch the whole thing. I got to feel a familiar feeling from childhood. Good old fashion values and spirits of the three main characters return to their home after dying in a plane crash. Older single gents who share a beautiful home and invite two strangers into their home on Christmas Eve. They are drawn to the two younger folks who have no families and they are alone. This younger couple find friendship and the gents learn to give of themselves and begin to feel good about a family bond with the couple. They picked careers over family and discover how blessed life can be when they share time with friends and ease off their careers and business. Events pull the young couple apart and it looks as tho a future together is not to be. Troubles increase and resulting hardships are handled and miracles ensue. A lovely ending. Keep the tissues handy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member What starts as a lovely Christmas film turns into a cliched drama halfway through.
