andrey k Nice, at times over the top in acting, soviet comedy. The second half is very amusing and riveting to watch while the exposure of the main heroine's situation occurs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I had seen this movie"Bezimmennaya Zvezda" in Russian TV in the year 1985. It is an excellent black and white movie and a good comedy. The movie starts with people tricking in to the station platform and swelling to a big crowd....just to watch a single express train passing through the that single horse town. After the train passes the crowd slowly disperses. This is the biggest daily event in that town. The scene changes to the school class room, where the male teacher is trying to catch the attention of giggling girl students and teach them astronomy...about a star which he only knows is existing by his astronomical calculations....That night the big town girl, who gets down from the train which stopped for signal at that station enters his life....and the life is not the same again for him.....for few more days....Interesting story, gripping movie, hilarious, brings out how two contrasting people get together.....for a while...Movie's starting and ending scenes are the same but it brings out certain irony and sadness.
