Abhiram R @iamkk 5d best pixar and disney movie after zootopia See more Bret M. @BretM-3 6d This is a great superhero, family flick. In fact, it's one of the best Disney movies ever. Firstly, if you're a parent trying to get your children into the superhero genre, but aren't comfortable with showing them MCU or DC movies, this is a great film to get them hooked! The action sequences are great and up to MCU standards. The action sequences wouldn't be what they are if it wasn't for the amazing animation. Everything looks very realistic and lifelike, while also looking somewhat stylized. Our characters are also very good. Hiro makes for a great protagonist and, depending on your life experiences, a relatable character. The arc he goes through is very good and heartwarming. But unfortunately, he's really the only character, besides Baymax and The Man in the Mask, who really goes through an arc. But that's a minor negative. The mystery aspect of the film is also great. It's fun to unravel the mystery of the Man in the Mask and finding out who he is. The twist is also very good and unexpected. Disney did a great job making a fun, mystery/action superhero movie, while also delivering a special and heartwarming message and story. Great for families and has something for everybody. Definitely worth a watch. See more Noah H. @Noah85 Mar 7 One of the BEST Disney animated movies from the 2010s. First saw it when I was in middle school, and I’ve loved it ever since. Yeah, I’ll admit, the villain could’ve been a little better…but is that REALLY something worth complaining about? I mean, it’s such a small part of the movie, people. Anyway, man is this movie an emotional tour-de-force. Hiro Hamada losing his brother, Tadashi, in my opinion, is one of the darkest scenes in ANY Disney movie. Yup. I said it. That scene TEARED me up when I first saw it and it still does EVERY time I rewatch it. This is the type of animated movie that I feel like both adults and kids can enjoy and I ADORE that. And, aside from some really dark moments, this movie is HILARIOUS. Baymax and Hiro’s chemistry is ADORABLE and they have a LOT of funny moments. The animation still looks incredible to this day and I personally think that Henry Jackman’s score for this movie is one of his BEST scores. Overall, a 2010s Disney classic DEFINITELY worth checking out. Again, the villain could’ve been better, but that doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the movie. I promise.
