      Audience Member True story of Cincinnati Royals Maurice Stokes and his teammate Jack Twyman who became his guardian after Stokes suffered a paralyzing injury. Film draws obvious parallels to BRIAN'S SONG and maybe too well intentioned and predictable to score a slam dunk. Helped out by heartfelt performances by the two leads Bernie Casey and Bo Svenson.
