While cleaning a detective agency, night janitors Stan (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) stumble into international intrigue -- just by answering the phone. Wacky inventor Alva P. Hartley (Arthur Space) has built a powerful explosive that he doesn't want to see fall into the wrong hands. Passing themselves off as private eyes, Stan and Ollie accept the job of guarding the device. But, with thieves lurking around every corner, the bumbling pair are bound to get more than they bargained for.

05/01/2022 Better than their flops in the worldwide box office (in US dollars)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, all ages admitted!!!!!!!!!!!! Make noise, I do. See more 05/03/2013 It provided a few laughs and some Laurel and Hardy classic was still visable, though this is the era they started burning out and it showed. Anyway, they pass for effort, but not long after this one. Laurel and HJardy don't over do it and hit the mark everytime. No one gives the knowing look to the audience like Hardy and no one plays the lost in his own head bungler like Stan Laurel.
