Slick Will, the mechanic for a legendary motorcycle racer named Smoke (Laurence Fishburne), is struck dead during an off-the-grid race. Following the funeral, and in opposition to his mother's protests, Slick Will's son, Kid (Derek Luke), starts racing in the same fringe circuit -- but, despite Kid's skill and showmanship, Smoke refuses to race him. Spurned by the man he looked up to, Kid starts a rival motorcycle gang called the Biker Boyz, and a showdown between them is inevitable.

Maybe worth watching, go see "Torque" instead. It all resonated with me and I absolutely loved the soundtrack. This is one of my top ten movies of all time and if you want to watch a feel good movie with some angst, a lot of heart and some laughter this is that one. Smoke (LAURENCE FISHBURNE, right) and Dogg (KID ROCK, left) take to the streets to race for the title King of Cali in DreamWorks Pictures' actioner BIKER BOYZ. Half & Half (SALLI RICHARDSON-WHITFIELD) and Soul Train (ORLANDO JONES) are two members of the Black Knights, a motorcycle racing club that is like an extended family.
