      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

It's more entertaining in theory than execution, but if you're looking for an amusingly cheesy slasher, Bitch Ass should just about fit the bill.

Thom G I stopped after 50 minutes. Unless the remaining 30 minutes save everything, the movie had potential, but it's so poorly done. The characters are underdeveloped, the plot is bad, the acting is sometimes subpar, and the whole thing feels caricatured (but apparently not - or not enough - on purpose). Most of the events unfold too easily (there's no way the events unfold the way they do or the characters react the way they do). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review davidson i pure trash..turned it off after 12 minutes...unwatchable Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Brad P New Masked Killer Creatively Plays With the Slasher Formula Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/20/23 Full Review badgerryan 1 Pretty silly. Liked some of the goofy B-rated comedy. Had a very cool concept though with the games. Kind of similar to SAW. Nothing that's gonna be remembered for anything other than being a goofy, comedy, B-rated horror movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/22 Full Review don c Rad retro slasher vibes! Never gonna play Rock Paper Scissors again tho. Fun watch! Leslie Felperin Guardian Actor-writer-director Bill Posley (best known for his scripts for Cobra Kai) is clearly having a bit of fun with this cheap and (presumably intentionally) cheesy horror romp. Rated: 3/5 Dec 14, 2022 Full Review Valerie Complex Deadline Hollywood Daily "Bitch Ass" is a funny, charming piece of B-horror cinema that has what it takes to stand firm among the many B-movie cult classics. Mar 21, 2022 Full Review Nick Allen RogerEbert.com There's just not enough imagination or tact to make this all unsettling or fun, even though a serial killer named Bitch Ass is a good hook. Mar 18, 2022 Full Review Mark H. Harris Black Horror Movies Passable slasher fare, but it needs an influx of humor, innovation and money to be a real “game” changer. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 28, 2022 Full Review Jonathan DeHaan Nightmare on Film Street Despite a few missteps in story and some puzzling visual choices, Bitch Ass is still a bold, imaginative slasher delivered on a shoestring budget. Rated: 5.5/10 Nov 2, 2022 Full Review Andy Crump Paste Magazine Posley balances Bitch Ass’ moral dilemma with clever, exuberant filmmaking Rated: 7.0/10 Oct 14, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
