Synopsis
After the funeral of a friend who was killed in a gang dispute, six African-American friends gather at the apartment of relatively well-off Kairo (Lord Harrison). Herb (Myquan Jackson) dreams of becoming a professional basketball player, but spends more time hanging out with drug dealers Griz (Rob Florestal) and Ren (Damian), while the more ambitious Dee (Naomi Ramsey) and Hope (Thomas Braxton Jr.) pursue their careers. Together, the six friends watch TV, get high and argue about being black in America.
