Audience Member We're not in Germany any more. A group of duped tourists are lured into the woods in Germany to see a legendary starlight. They awake in the woods but in another dimension. All of the fairy tales they know start playing out in front of them and they begin getting killed off. Can the tourists work together to solve the riddles of the mysterious land and escape? "Who puts a raven in a Volkswagen anyway?" Patrick Dinhut, director of Dead & Deader and episodes from the television series Puppy Love, delivers Black Forest in his second major motion picture. The storyline for this picture has a horror's Brother Grimm feel with some good twists and turns and some eerie characters. The acting was cliché for the genre and fairly mediocre. "Where there's a goat there's a farm." This was recently added to the Netflix online queue so I instantly added it to my wish list. This was interesting and I enjoyed watching this unfold in a Trolls 2 kind of way. This is a "so bad it's good" horror movie that is entertaining and worth a viewing for fans of the genre. "Have you ever had any guests that lived?"
