John M 3.9 Almost didn't watch it due to the poor technical reviews, but took a chance due to the big names, and audience reviews and very glad I did. A tad sappy but I guess that is what I like in this genre. It pulls at your heart strings with some very strong moments and an overall plot that just sounds a little unlikely in the beginning making more sense as time goes on. A couple of those strong moments will be hard to forget. No words spoken in the one that comes first to mind. Maybe an advantage for Sophia Loren. She nailed it as did everyone involved in making that brief scene. Curious about other Anthony Quinn roles now. Was he often cast with this personality? Is this somewhat his real personality? If not, would seem a difficult character to portray. Looking forward to more movies like this. If you know any... .
