The lead actor playing Blade isn't bad, but let's face it, he's no Wesley Snipes. The acting across the board is subpar, making the entire production feel like a cheap copy of the iconic films. The action scenes, the backbone of any Blade story, are lackluster and uninspired. The attempt to remake the classic trilogy falls flat, with none of the original's grit or style. Instead, we get a soap opera version of Blade, complete with melodramatic dialogue and cheesy special effects. A series could have been a brilliant way to expand the Blade universe, but it needed fresh, innovative ideas, not this bargain-bin knock-off. Overall, it’s a disappointing 1.5 stars for "Blade: House of Chthon" – a shadow of what it could have been. See more 08/31/2019 Doesn't have Wesley Snipes and looks really fake.
