What to Know

Critics Consensus

Louder, campier, and more incoherent than its predecessors, Blade: Trinity seems content to emphasize style over substance and rehash familiar themes.

I'm a great fan of Blade, the Marvel Comics vampire hunter played by Wesley Snipes... But a third episode, Blade: Trinity, directed by David S. Goyer, is a blood fest too far. Go to Full Review

The only one who seems to be having much fun, though, is Parker Posey, camping it up as one of the vampires. Go to Full Review

Low-stakes action, nonexistent character development, campy villains, and a sidelined main character make the film feel like it's trying to ice skate uphill. Go to Full Review

Gregory S 5d If it would have just been a music video, it would have been great. Unfortunately, it wasn't. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 6d Blade: Trinity, the third film in the Blade trilogy, introduces Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel alongside Wesley Snipes’ iconic vampire hunter. The action sequences are intense and well-choreographed, with Snipes continuing to command the screen. The supporting cast brings energy, but the story struggles, feeling scattered and inconsistent. Character development is present, yet it comes at the cost of a focused narrative, leaving the plot uneven and underwhelming. The screenplay attempts to balance humor, horror, and action but falters, creating tonal issues throughout. Visually, the film maintains a dark, stylish aesthetic, and the fight scenes remain inventive. While fans of Snipes and the Blade universe may enjoy the thrilling combat, the movie ultimately fails to deliver a cohesive story or a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Blade: Trinity entertains in moments but is a disappointing finale to what began as a strong vampire antihero series. See more Sankalp good S Dec 11 I watch the film many times n it's good action flicks downer than previous two but a good install with some of best cast n performance ♥️😃🦸‍♂️ See more Justin T Dec 7 I quite enjoyed this and thought that it was better than the second film but still nothing compared to the first. The action is exciting but some of the montages throughout the film become tiresome. The opening sequence is amazing but the rest of the film isn’t quite as good. Jessica Biel looks stunning but her martial arts skills are pretty weak. There is some violence but not enough and there is a lot of action but little story development. See more Paul S Nov 24 The Blade trilogy suffered a massive downfall since the first movie. The idea of Blade having to hunt and battle Dracula is awesome, and the action sequences were amazing, but there were so many parts of the movie that were just plain stupid. I love Ryan Reynolds as much as the next guy, but his comedic demeanor felt massively out of place, and it made his character really annoying. Despite this movie's shortcomings, I still had some fun watching it, and no matter what, Wesley Snipes' portrayal of Blade is one of the best comic book depictions I've ever seen. This movie has a lot of problems, but I'd definitely recommend it for action, thriller, and superhero fans. See more David D. @FrostyXP Nov 12 Very disappointed. The action was weak, the acting horrible. Character development weak. Didn’t enjoy this movie. See more Read all reviews
