Claudia Puig FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A very suspenseful psychological thriller... It's multilayered and shows how the deck is stacked against the most vulnerable. Dec 13, 2022 Full Review Ronda Racha Penrice TheWrap Instead of merely recounting a real-life event, Guzzoni has created a compelling thriller that probes deep, posing critical questions about society’s continual failure to protect children. Dec 9, 2022 Full Review Carlos Aguilar Los Angeles Times Guzzoni’s fictionalized entanglement of ambiguous actions and unspeakable impunity operates with a taut assertiveness devoid of all emotional artificiality. Dec 9, 2022 Full Review Carlos Bonfil La Jornada Guzzoni's film intelligently and cleverly sets up the complexity of the [abuse] case. It is up to the audience to infer its other intricacies and uncomfortable suggestions. [Full review in Spanish] Jul 17, 2023 Full Review Carlos Marañón Cinemanía (Spain) A violent look into the backyard of Chilean society. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 May 12, 2023 Full Review Heidy Morales Hye's Musings There is plenty to be said and unsaid in BLANQUITA… We are left with plenty of thoughs and emotions once the film ends. This is a story about truth, ethics, and how society has failed victims of abuse (of all types) in many respects. Rated: 4/5 Jan 31, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Fred O Badly constructed and for a bad message : it's good to lie and pretend you have been sexually abused, as long as the man you accuse is a real sex offender. But such a message can be used by real sex offenders as a proof that they are wrongly accused. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
