Blind has a good premise, a good cast of characters, and a good understanding of the plight of the handicapped. There's so much goodness, in fact, that it's a downright tragedy that the film ends so awfully.

Though his interaction with Faye is creepy and chilling, it's also unbelievable -- why does the killer of the blind need to arrange an elaborate funhouse environment with lights and visual pop when his victims can't see?

Aside from a few creepy moments, Blind is crushingly slow and poorly scripted (and acted). When former movie star goes blind from surgery, she lives along in her huge mansion (and can light fires and pour herself many glasses of wine) but can't tell when there's a 6'4 goon dancing 2 feet in front of her face.

There has been enough said about the pacing and style of the film. Beyond that, I honestly think that either the writer or director (and possibly both) have never personally met a blind person. I was irked as the entire movie hinges on perceptions of a disability that falls apart within the first five minutes.
