Jean Douchet Cahiers du Cinéma Losey is above all a researcher, his mise en scène a method. His declared objective: knowledge. His only apparatus: intelligence, or rather lucidity. Gayle R Blind Date- is an astonishing film. Magnetic. I was glued immediately-the suspense. For those who crave British New Wave films it is a pear- encompasses the genre with original, thought provoking, head spinning dialogue that one craves in real life: “seeing, really seeing”-loneliness, love, sex, money, class, dirty politics, reality, cops, privilege, gentry, artists. The acting is superb. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/25 Full Review Geisiane O Bom! Pra quem gosta de descobertas excelente Nem tudo é o que parece ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Wordy stage-play styled murder mystery, there's not too many locations, but the part-psychological play-out between detective and suspect is worthy.
