Eryn J Truly a gut punch. Beautifully acted. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Alec B The movie finds an elegant balance between it's more hard edge commentary and the broad humor. I think because Diggs and Casal are real life friends, there is an authenticity to the movie that might not be there otherwise. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Alec C Funny as it is emotional, "Blindspotting" shows us how the greatest form of discrimination is ignorance. The complex friendship between the two lead characters makes for exceptional viewing and analysis. Like a well-timed bomb, you feel the fuse as it slowly begins to light until it hits you with an explosive pay-off! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/23 Full Review Red T All Time Classic. Everything is phenomenal. Miles is the best thing in this and is so explosive, electrifying, unhinged and terribly funny. The humor is excellent and feels like it was actually written by people who understand urban life and not Malibu's Most Wanted type humor. The editing is truly masterful with amazing transitions and perfect balancing of comedy & drama. It knows when to tone down the humor and never gets obnoxious but it also knows when to make you laugh. This is a phenomenal character study on urban challenges and the position someone has to overcome arbitrarily just by being born in this environment. The cinematography is amazing also with amazing well framed shots with depth that makes everything pop. This is something everyone should see once. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/23 Full Review Kyle A Yup. This movie was hella dope. Everyone should be watching this If you from the Bay or live here now, it is required viewing. Tv series rad too Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/23 Full Review Owen W My favourite movie of all time, the way this movie juggles so many themes and none of them come off as half-baked or forced. There is so much weight to every scene as well as the hard-hitting depictions of identity, police-brutality and prejudice. All of this is executed through the lens of a buddy cop comedy between an ex-convict and his angry pal. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Daniel Gallant Time Out A mercurial and explosive film, Blindspotting nimbly parses conflicts about race, rent, incarceration and gentrification. Rated: 4/5 Dec 30, 2018 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) What could have been laboured and polemical is deftly handled, defused with comedy and powered by a pulsating score. Rated: 4/5 Oct 6, 2018 Full Review Amon Warmann Empire Magazine By equal turns tense and witty but with plenty of perceptive social commentary to go around, this is a film that only gets more rewarding the more you look under its surface. Rated: 4/5 Oct 5, 2018 Full Review Ryan McQuade InSession Film With biting humor, tense cultural relevance and the best use of hip hop I’ve seen in film in a long time, this movie is this generation's Do the Right Thing. Apr 4, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...the picture benefits substantially from the stellar performances by (and palpable chemistry between) the two central characters... Rated: 2.5/4 Jun 4, 2023 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut Carlos Estrada’s film, if not the best of the year, is the most important. Blindspotting is shocking, powerful, provocative, incendiary, even funny. It’s ripped from the moment. It encapsulates today’s modern indignation. It’s a contemporary classic.
