Starts strong and you hope for a Wolfenstein styled Nazi killing. But it gets boring and annoying fast. The "main" protagonist (who really looks like a younger version of Blasko) has his shining moments but gets stopped in his tracks and starts to move around like a beaten dog. Has to be rescued of course. Because directors were afraid of creating a one-man army? Watch Sisu instead.

Feels like a Tarantino flick in how it's presented with the regular gratuitous violence, but paced more conventionally, with a little mystery within. The theme of the grinding effect of war on people is well drawn out. Very solid film.

The movie starts strong, but quickly degenerates into standard late WW2 occupied Germany shooter archetype. Overall, not a bad movie, but what really annoyed me was that Netflix spruiked it as "Tarantino-esque" and similar to Inglourious Basterds. Listen up, Thorwarth and Netflix, you can't just slap an upbeat tune on a horrendous murder scene and say it's like Tarantino. Netflix you partially killed it for me with that description because I went in with such high expectations.
